Steven charged into the world on February 25, 1965. He was born to Susan and Roger Bowles in Great Falls, Montana. Steve grew up in Minot, North Dakota, and graduated from Minot High in 1983. After high school, Steve attended UND and graduated with a degree in Marketing. During his time in NoDak, Steve made countless lifelong friends. Steve made the decision to move to the much warmer state of Arizona after college to pursue his passion and love for music in the industry.
His two daughters helped welcome the love of his life, Beth, into their family on May 25, 1996. Together, Beth and Steve were blessed with three beautiful children.
He was a philosophical, argumentative, pain-in-the-butt with a love of family, music and life that words cannot begin to describe. He lived every day in the “now”. He was a beloved husband, father, friend, coach, mentor and an all around phenomenal guy.
Steve’s legacy will live on with his incredible wife (Beth), five punks (Tana (Greg), Courtney, Ben, Jonah and Tatum) and two grandpunks (Jaeger and Nolan), Mother and Step-Father (Susan and Jim Manning), Sister (Lisa Gallagher), Brother (David Wiley), In-Laws (Nancy and Bill Bowdren) and several amazing aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Steve was proceeded in death by his father (Roger Bowles) and Grandparents (Harriet and Roger Herigstad, Ivan and Alice Bowles).
Steve’s Celebration of Life Ceremony and Viewing will be held at Green Acres, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Public viewing will be held at 1:30 pm with a celebration ceremony at 2:30 pm. Please come and celebrate the life of this incredible man.
