Theodore Brown

Theodore R. “Ted” Brown, born August 10, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA, passed away October 30, 2013 in Phoenix, AZ. As the only child of Ralph and Marie Brown, Ted grew up and went to school in Eureka, CA. He then served as an air crew radio operator in the U.S. Air Force. In later years, he was a realtor in Eureka, and served as President of the Eureka-Humboldt County Board of Realtors (1966). He and his family moved to Seattle in 1968 where he was engaged in real estate and construction business. Ted moved to Phoenix in 1972, and was involved in various construction and finance enterprises. He was a member of the Air Force Association and Air Weather Association. Ted is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Steven Ahrens of Bellevue, WA. Ted’s family is genuinely thankful for the services provided by Hospice of the West, and will be eternally grateful to Geraldine Griffiths and her staff at Mulberry Assisted Living for their gentle, loving care during the last six months of Dad’s life. Services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary at 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, on Tuesday at 11L00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the West are most appreciated.
