Victor Adams passed away peacefully on July 5th, 2018. He was born February 21, 1931 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada to Leslie and Elizabeth. He married June Sherrick in 1957 and they immigrated to the United States in 1962. He became a naturalized American citizen in 1967 and resided in the Valley, most recently in Scottsdale, until his passing. Vic retired from Motorola after more than 30 years as an engineer, having developed many patented processes for semiconductor technology. An avid fisherman, Vic also loved to entertain friends with his banjo and accordion playing, which he played by ear, having never taken a lesson. He was proud of his Hungarian heritage and learned to speak and write the language on his own. He seemed happiest in the outdoors, whether on the lake, by a campfire or even gardening and doing yardwork. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, June Adams and his sister, Irene Nestor. He was a devoted family man, a kind and generous son, father, uncle and friend. He leaves behind a daughter Deborah Campbell, son-in-law K Campbell, brother Robert Adams, sister-in-law Mary Adams and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. While no services are planned at this time, please sign the memorial guest book at www.greenacresmortuary.net to receive information for a life celebration to be held sometime in the fall.
