Dr. Vimal Vasant Abhyanker, 77, of Phoenix, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2015. She was born in Honnavar, India to Waman and Rama Argekar on January 5, 1938. She is survived by her husband, Vasant; son, Raj; daughter, Sonia; and numerous other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Vimal's name to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
