

- Brent joined an older brother Jared Micheal, who was 2 and a half years old.
- Brent's grandparents: Guy and Mary Ann Daugherty (both now deceased), Ralph and Mary Covington (both now deceased).
- Brent's great grandparents: Marie Daugherty (now deceased), W.F. and Mary Kriegermeier (both now deceased), and Anna Sumpter (now deceased).
- The Richard Covington family lived in Centerville, Iowa and Creston, Iowa until 1982.
- In 1982, the Richard Covington family moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
- Brent graduated high school in 1993.
- Brent met the love of his life in 1991, Tammy Robinson. They were high school sweethearts their last two years of high school.
- Brent and Tammy got married in 1995.
- In 1998, Brent and Tammy welcomed their first son, Riley.
- In 1998, Brent and Tammy and Riley moved to Tacoma Washington.
- In 1999, Brent began his training to become a Correction Officer, and Brent has worked continuously since that time as a King County Correction Officer. He was dedicated to, and was very proud of his chosen profession. He also worked overtime, went to work early, and he believed in giving 110% every single shift.
- In 2000, Jordan was born.
- In 2002, Braiden was born.
- In 2009, Brent's dad Richard passed away after a brief illness.
- In 2015, Riley celebrated 1 year of dating Jaclyn Lee Krier.
- Brent was very active in sports, starting in Little League at age 6 and a half, and played baseball until age 11.
- Brent participated in wrestling from age 12 to age 13 and a half. Brent won individual State honors in 8th grade wrestling.
- Brent participated in football and basketball all 4 years in high school.
- Brent got his right hand broken and required surgery and permanent placement of titanium plates and screws in his hand. He missed just two games. His football team took second place in State football playoffs that year.
- Brent got his nose broken playing basketball and required surgery to repair it. He missed no games; but he really didnt like having to wear the plexiglass face shield.
- Brent got his first job at 16, working for his Dad at the rental car company. He never looked back, and worked hard his entire life.
- Brent and Tammy and their 3 sons were a good and happy family. They took many family vacations over the years; Disneyland, Disney World and Norwegian Cruises were some of their favorites.
- Brent loved to take a family drive, or take his family to a local park. Weekends, or days off were often family excursion time; ferry rides, trips to Pikes Market, and trips to the ocean.
- Brent attended as many of his sons' sporting events as he could.
- Brent always tried to have one meal a day with his family, and his family was his biggest priority.
