Cecilia Marie McSteen

Cecilia Marie McSteen passed away at her home in Kirkland, Washington on October 1st 2021 at 71 years of age, she is preceded in passing by her mother Agnes V. Dockendorf and her father, William (Bill) A. Hart.

“Cec” as she was known to her family, was born in Everett, Washington on June 30th 1950.

After graduating from Shadle Park High in Spokane, Washington, Cec met Roger McSteen, they were then married on July 13th 1968.

For 35 years, Cec enjoyed a career as both a homemaker, at home, and a store owner in the furniture industry, where she purchased supply and assisted in home design décor. Cec, in particular, took great care and pleasure in arranging the furniture floor display. In 2017, Cec retired from her role in furniture.

A woman of strong Christian faith, Cec was devoted to her family, she especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren as well as walking her dog and gardening in the backyard. Prior to retirement from the furniture store.

Cec is preceded in passing by her mother Agnes V. Dockendorf and her father, William (Bill) A. Hart; Surviving family include her husband, Roger McSteen; her children, Heather (son-in-law Jim), Jason, Kim (son-in-law Tim), and Jessie (partner Marcella); siblings Pat (brother-in-law Lloyd), Terry (brother-in-law Mike); 8 grandchildren; 5 nieces, 5 nephews; and 5 great grandchildren.
