Donna Irene Allen

Donna was born on June 15, 1954 to Oscar and Betty Ison. She attended Ballard High School as well as Edison High School and at one time contemplated being a carpenter.

After meeting her husband of 32 years they went on to adopt three children, Jesse, Terrell and Katie. Donna was a devoted spouse and parent, always putting her family first and cherishing every moment spent with them. Devoted caretaker and co-owner of a Ballard print shop Pelican Press inc Donna spent most of her time caring for and helping others.

Donna is survived by her daughter Katie Allen (partner Alex); sons Jesse Allen (partner Julia) and Terrell Allen (partner Lauren); seven grandchildren; brothers Douglas, Calvin and Stan; nieces nephews and cousins. Donna was predeceased by her husband of 32 years Keith Faulkner Shea Allen; and sisters Esther and Ruth.

Donna’s ashes are to be interned alongside her husband Keith Faulkner Shea Allen on Friday March 1, 2024 at Acacia Memorial Park in Lake Forest Park, WA. A private gathering will be held later this year in remembrance. To Donna we say farewell for now, but we will never forget the light they brought into our lives. May she rest in peace, and may we continue to honor her memory by living our lives to the fullest.
