Eledes Hunt McConnel

Born Oct. 10, 1918 in Idaho, the daughter of Grace and Harvey Hunt. Much loved Eledes MCConnel passed quietly after a short bout with leukemia on May 25, 2012. She is survived by her husband of almost 74 years, Forest McConnel. Dee, as she was known by friends and family, was a sweet person who truly enjoyed life. She was beta sigma pi in Anchorage AK, a pitch hitter pilot, seamstress, quilter, gardener, world traveler and enjoyed playing the organ. She was a sister, sister-in-law, mom, grandma, great grandma and great-great-grandma. She is survived by sister Betty H. and husband Richard of California, sister-in-law Lois D. of Seattle, son Ron M. and wife Judith W. of Seattle, duaghter Deanna B. and husband Paul I. of Seattle, granddaughters Karen B. of California, Crystal C. and husband David of Vashon Island, Dawn B. and husband Marving P. of Eagle River AK., Sue B. of Anchorage, Margo H. and husband Joe of California and grandson Forest B. of Anchorage. She will be missed by family, friends and extended family. There will be a celebration of life for Dee at her home in Seattle on Aug. 11, 2012 after a grave side service.
