

Born on November 20, 1927 in Tacoma, Washington by Erich & Henriett Steenborg.
Erica’s early years were spent in Germany, then back in the United States where she lived in the Queen Ann neighborhood in Seattle and attended John Hay Elementary. The family then moved to Capitol Hill where she attended Stevens Elementary. High School years were spent in Sunnyside, WA where her father was involved in the emerging growth of the Washington wine industry. Growing up, summers were spent at her Tante Gretel and Onkle Otto’s homestead on Sandy Shore Lake, Olympic Peninsula, with her dear cousins Ellen, Gene and others. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business where she was involved in Kappa Kappa Gamma. Erica was instrumental in the design of several offices, restaurants and retail shops in the Seattle area during her career, as well as Seattle Center exhibits and the inaugural Bumbershoot.
Erica was preceded by her parents Erich and Henriette Steenborg and several beloved aunts and uncles, and her beloved do Kira. Erica is survived by her son Gordon (Jeannine), daughter Cameon (Michael) and grandchildren Eric, Shaun (Claire), William, Derick (Lauren), Erika and great-grandchildren Kainoa, Kaleena, Aiden.
