Evelyn Dorothy Gunderson, 97, of Port Orchard, Washington, passed away April 27, 2012. She was born in Spokane, Washington on April 12, 1915. Evelyn graduated from Kinman Business School and completed her first year of college at Stevens College. She was married to Hubert (Brad) Bradshaw Gunderson on April 13, 1941. Evelyn worked in various capacities for a Fairbanks Alaska floral shop, Singer Sewing Machine, Fairbank First Methodist Church, and the Cripple Creek Coal Mine. She was a member of University Temple Methodist Church in Seattle and had a passion for flowers and gardening, stamp collecting, music, and the church. She is survived by Dorothy and Richard Gunderson; Grandchildren Kimberly, Kenneth, Nicole, Cynthia, and Philip; Great Grandchildren Richard, Laura, Brad, Parker, Alex, Kaitlyn, Sydney, Ashton, and Cooper; Great Great Grandchildren Benjamin, Lucas, and Forest; Sister Ruth Proctor.
