Gabriel Michael Sayan

Gabe was homeschooled until 4th grade, when he entered the gifted program at Wing Luke Elementary. He attended middle school at Southwest Seattle Christian Center, where his family attended church, and where he was also dedicated and baptized.

By the 8th grade, Gabe attended Sylvester Middle School, and went to graduate from Highline High School in 2000. Gabe earned AA’s from Clover Park Technical College, and South Seattle Community College.

In 2009, Gabe completed the Seattle Maritime Academy’s Marine Engineering Program, and proceeded to work on container ships for American President Lines until April, 2012.

Gabe was a voracious reader, who rarely went anywhere without at least one book. He also loved listening to music and making music. Gabe made friends wherevere he went, and they will remember his big persona, his intellect and outrageous sense of humor.

Gabe was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Sayan. He is survived by his mother, Wendy; his sister, Aimee; his brother, Tom; his grandfather Doug Sayan; his grandmother Shirley Erhart, and various aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Puget Sound area.
