Gene passed from this life on January 13th, 2016. He was born February 14th, 1929 in Ellensburg, Washington. He lived most of his life in the North Seattle community. Living through the first Great Depression had a lifetime influence on him. He Married Evelyn L. Sheppard and together they raised six children. In many ways he was a self-taught man gaining automotive and woodworking skills that became the fabric of his professional life. In 1972 he started his own wood shop, Sheppard Millwork, Inc. In his latter years he very much enjoyed the companionship and loving care of Janelle Anderson.
Gene is survived by his Brother Neal Sheppard ;children : Sherry Sheppard, Victoria and Ken Rice, Gregory and Bonny Sheppard, Julie and Leif Carlson and Rebecca Sheppard-Clark and Grandchildren, Gavin Rice, Danielle and Ryan Hursh, Christopher Carlson and Carissa Clark.
Celebration of Gene's life will be Sunday, February 14th 2016, 1 to 4 PM at Crystal Lake Lodge, 23909 Crystal Lake Rd , Woodinville , WA 98077
