During her career in the Administrative field, Gloria worked as an assistant at Indiana University, where she later retired. Additionally, Gloria was employed with WFBMTV and WRTV in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In her personal life, Gloria enjoyed many different interests. Volunteering at her church, attending Bible study, rosary group, and Mass. Outside of church, Gloria spent time with family and friends, knitting, playing cards, hiking, walking, and keeping up with current events; she took pleasure in discussing the news with folks in her life. Travelling was also a pastime of Gloria's, specifically Europe and the United States. Whenever she wasn't travelling or spending time with her loved ones, she was caring for her beloved pets, Ming and Daisy, both cats, and her bird, Sunny.
Gloria is survived by brother Herbert Groff and sister-in-law Betty Groff; nephew Tom Groff, niece Linda Groff O'Donnell, nephew Matt Groff, niece Holly Groff, nephew-in-law Jeff O'Donnell, great niece Vanessa O'Donnell, great nephew Corey O'Donnell and great nephew Mike Dechant.
A very social person, Gloria was actively involved throughout her entire life. She loved her many friends and was devoted to her family and the church. She shared her beautiful smile with the world.
