

She had a wonderful childhood with many varied experiences. She spent the early years living in mining communities.
Lenora married the love of her life, Stan McEachran in 1939. She received her BA degree in Education from Eastern Washington University,and also attended four other colleges including her first year at the University of Idaho. She belonged to Kappa Delta Pi and Delta Kappa Gamma of which she was President.
During her long lifetime she had several careers including four years as a Boeing inspector during WWII. Then Lenora and Stan ran the College Inn for four years-during which time they made many lifelong friendships.
Next they began teaching. For Lenora, it was one year in Pasco and 24 years in Seattle. There she taught several years at the demonstration school,and was a participant in a pilot science project. She served three years as a board member of Washington Education and was listed in Who's Who of American Women.
After she retired she pursued a lifelong interest in the business world and traveled extensively until she got tired of it. Finally, she became a Competitive Ballroom Dancer, for almost ten years, all over the U.S.and Canada. Lenora was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by a nephew, Leslie Anderson, a niece Holly Turner and two great-nieces, Ashley and Laura Turner, of Virginia. Also a number of nieces and nephews residing in California. Cousins Lenora Parkins and Scott and Matt Hill of Las Vegas. Cousins Dorothy Flynn, of Helena, Montana, Shirley and Bob Jorgensen and Betty Kencke of Great Falls, Montana, John and Lu McBride of Seattle, Krystal and Jim Gibbs of Birmingham, Alabama and many beloved friends and family members in the Seattle area.
Lenora supported many animal related charities so in her memory donations may be made to the Seattle Humane Society.
