The world was blessed with Matthew Lyle Alexander on January 29, 1996 in San Diego, California to his parents Dawn and Jeff Alexander. He was taken from us far too soon on March 4, 2017 at 21 years old. Matt grew up in Kenmore, Washington and graduated from Inglemoor High School in 2014. He grew up playing sports, taking guitar lessons from his dad, and lovingly antagonizing his two sisters, Corina and Josie and two step sisters, Emily and Nicole. Matt had recently been living with his mom in Dallas, Texas where he was enjoying time with his half-sister, Stacy, whom he also lovingly antagonized. Matt was working as a shipping and receiving assistant manager and enjoyed spending every day with his close family friend, Pete. He had just purchased his first car. He was on the verge of some great life achievements. Matt prided himself on his taste in music and his extensive group of friends. Everyone who knew him would comment on his contagious smile, sense of humor, and his beautiful blue eyes. Matt paid great attention to detail and was fiercely loyal and intelligent. He was capable of anything he set his mind to. But most importantly, Matt had an extraordinarily good heart. Matt is survived by his parents, sisters, step-sisters and Janine. He leaves behind a great, big family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many incredible friends. Matt will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Please visit www.acaciafuneralhome.com to leave your condolences on Matt's online guestbook.
A Memorial Service will be held at Acacia Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Seattle, WA on Friday, March 10, 2017 beginning at 9:30am.
Please also join Matt's family on March 10th at 6:00pm to Celebrate Matt's life at the 192 Brewing Company, 7324 NE 175th St F, Kenmore, WA 98028.
