

Paul was born in Lawrence Kansas on November 1, 1920 to Norris Walter Bryan and Grace Virginia Barrett Bryan. He was the only one out of six born in the hospital. He was number six; he was the baby of the family. He lived on a farm for two years and the family moved to Topeka.
He then moved to Berryton, KS at the age of 16. He met Annie at a farm in Berryton during threshing season. Mom was 13. Later on when Mom was 14 they started to date. Dad
was 18. Mom was 17 and Dad was 21 when they got married. They left Kansas on
January 1, 1941 for Seattle. They had Pauline in Seattle when Mom was 18.
Then Mom went back to Kansas in 1944 when Dad went to officer school
for the Merchant Marines.
Then in 1946 they went back to Seattle after officer school, because he went to
sea. They first lived in Ballard with friends, and then in the University District and
later on lived in North Court Auto Camp on Aurora, then moved to Greenlake
and then moved to Kenmore in 1949.
Paul Sr. is survived by his wife, Annie, and his children; Pauline, Virginia, Paul Jr., Norris, and Annie. He is survived by nine grandkids and fourteen great grandkids and two great great grandkids and one more on the way. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and one sister, Virginia Koon.
He is predeceased by his siblings; Dorothy, William (stillborn), Walter and Jesse.
