ReneeˊYvette was born July 13, 1927 in Chicago. Her parents were Virgil Evans and Vera H. Hughes. Educated in the public schools in Chicago, she met and married Lafayette Moore, Jr. Sixty-seven years ago.
The two relocated to Seattle Washington in 1946. They gave birth to two children, a boy and a girl. Both babies died shortly after birth. They gave birth to three other children, Michael, Dwight, and Margo.
A loving wife and mother, she was employed at Doctor’s Hospital in the Dietary Services Department. Her employment did not keep her from taking care of her husband, home and children. She is described as a loving, caring and giving person; sweet and patient and very smart.
Preceded in death by both parents and two babies, Reneeˊ passed into Perfect Peace on Thursday, January 24, 2013. She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Lafayette Moore, Jr., three children, Michael Duane (Sabrina) Moore of Kent, Dwight Arnold (Nancy) Moore, Bellevue and Margo Darlene Moore, Seattle; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
