Roberta was born on November 28, 1953, in Port Townsend, WA, where she spent her early years before pursuing a life of service and dedication to her family and community. She attended Port Townsend High School and later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. With a deep passion of caring for others, she devoted many years to her work as a registered nurse, most recently serving at Kaiser Permanente.
Above all, Roberta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She shared over 11 wonderful years with her loving husband, George Tuau. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tanya Farmer of Maui, HI, and Kyra-lin Hom of Seattle, WA, as well as her sons-in-law, Justin Farmer and Chad Richman. Roberta was a proud and loving grandmother to Jocelyn Farmer (15), Lucas Farmer (12), Elijah Farmer (7), Solaris Richman (5), and Calemir Richman (1). She also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Kathy Beery and Carol Baush, and brothers-in-law, Dave Beery and Larry Baush.
Roberta’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered. Her compassion as a nurse, her dedication as a mother and grandmother, and her strength as a sister and friend touched the lives of many.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
