Former Washington resident Shirley June Dahl, 84, passed away September 29, 2020 at her home in Puyallup, Washington.
Mrs. Dahl was born June 10, 1936, in Forman, North Dakota to the late Rollo and Ella (Hanson) Colby.
At an early age, Shirley took on many responsibilities. Growing up on a farm in North Dakota, she was the youngest daughter of seven children. She was a straight "A" student, but only attended school through the 8th grade.
Shirley loved and trusted friends and family. She was hard working and respectful, always putting others needs before her own. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. She was a very caring mother.
Shirley is survived by her three children: Steven (Junell) Johnson, Mark (Sandra) Johnson, and Lori (Keith) Hatten; seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving niece's and nephews, as well as other family members and friends.
According to Shirely's wishes, no formal service will take place, and she will be buried at Riverton Crest Cemetery, in Tukwila, Washington.
