Sopon Sukul was a man of strength, resilience, and selflessness. He loved his family unconditionally. Everyone here knew Sopon was a good, pure hearted man. He touched our lives in ways we will never forget. Sopon was a light in our world, he helped us when we struggled the most. He was a loyal husband, a loving father, a devoted grandfather, a respectable brother, and an obedient son. Sopon’s presence lives in us all. We will miss him, but he will be with us forever; in the memories we keep, in the stories we share, in the tears we cry, and in the sounds of our laughter. We lost him in this life, but we will see each other again in the next.
Sopon is survived by many family members who love him wholeheartedly. This includes his wife, Suphatra Sukul, his son, Steven Sukul, his daughter, Brenda Sukul (Jacob Wichrowski); his sisters, Sumitra (Suwat Kanchan), Suphatra (Soros Sujaree), Shakuntala Sukul Duncan, Nittaya Pharnichkarn, Yera Yunjanjai, Lekha (Peter Tang), Sawitre (Joe Massey), and Kassara Sukul Smith (Steve Minerich); and his three grandsons Micah, Dominick, and Alden. He was preceded in death by his father Sak Sukul, his mother Prachuab Sukul, and his two brothers Manut and Mohan Sukul.
