Aunt Vernita will continue to live in my heart and in my highest regards for as long as I live.  Her radiant spirit exists everywhere and makes the world a brighter place for all, even for those who never had the fortune to meet her.  She was, and will continue to be, a very influential figure to me.  Talented, loving, resilient, brilliant, funny, loyal, beautiful, graceful, genuine and composed, she had the kind of smile that could instantly make all feel right in the world.  Among her many talents, my great aunt Vernita had the best memory of anyone I have ever come across and she was a captivating storyteller.  In love and gratitude of her kind and caring nature as well as her brazen spirit that always seemed to encourage the light in others.  Maite 

My Mom was wonderful, she was my best friend, Lucky Lady, & I miss her all the time , we are always thinking of you!


Wishing comfort to Charla, Lucky Lady and the entire family. It was a gift to spend time with Vernita.  I will hold dear the memories made.
