Christine Mazurkiewicz

Christine Mazurkiewicz, age 55 passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Christine was born in Jersey City to the late Charles Mazurkiewicz and Patricia (Dora) Caroccia and lived in Jersey City before moving to Secaucus 33 years ago. Christine graduated Magna Cum Laude from Felician College in 1999 where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked most of her career at the Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in Secaucus as a Nurse in the Newborn Nursery, Special Care Nursery, and Post Partum where she received many certifications and accolades over the years which included certifications in advanced cardiac life support, lactation counseling, and neonatal resuscitation. Along with her many certifications and accolades Christine also maintained a professional membership with many organizations including The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, The National Association of Neonatal Nurses, and the Academy of Neonatal Nurses.

Christine is survived by her loving wife Pamela Teal; her cherished children, Colin Mazurkiewicz, Carly Mazurkiewicz and her significant other Casey McClelland , and Cameron Mazurkiewicz; Her stepchildren, Kristen Schwartz and her husband John, and Lauren Kunisch; her devoted grandchildren, Jodi Schwartz, Greyson McClelland, and Bentley McClelland; loving sisters, Lisa Serra and her husband Richard & Jennifer Scranton and her husband Paul; cherished nieces and nephews, Jordan Serra, Madison Scranton, and Morgan Scranton; as well as many loving extended family members and friends.

Christine's arrangements are being provided by the Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094 where a Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering for her will be on Friday, Dec. 13th between 12-4pm with a Celebration of Life Prayer Service offered at 1pm. All are welcome to attend.
