Nani, Mom, Aunt Elsie, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 years.
Elsie lived in West New York, NJ, eventually retiring to Manasquan, NJ.
She was wonderfully devoted to her 3 children - Richard Reynolds, Timothy Reynolds, Susan (Reynolds) Miller, and her son-in-law, Michael Miller.
Nani was a loving grandmother to Timothy Reynolds, Jr., Leigh (Reynolds) Klein and Michael Miller.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Reynolds; sister, Margaret (Sinkovits) Battifarano; son Timothy Reynolds; daughter-in-law Lucille (Celie) Reynolds; and nephew Robert Palumbo. She is further survived by seven adoring great grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Nani led a full life, raising children and owning and running Reynolds Tavern and Liquor Store in West New York, and caring for all she encountered.
Nani will be fondly remembered for her love of family, dancing, big band music and the Manasquan Inlet. She led by example. Elsie was a strong, determined, and fiercely independent woman who had a zest for life.
We will miss her every day.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 19th from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Mack Memorial Funeral Home in Secaucus, NJ; funeral services will be held concurrently at 8 pm.
Entombment will be held Wednesday at 11:15 AM at the St. Catharine’s Mausoleum in Sea Girt, NJ.
