Ernest Victor Castle

Ernest was born in New York City to the late Stanley and Lydia (Jordan) Castle. A US Army Airborne Korean War veteran, Ernest worked as a truck driver for Werner Continental and Hartz Mountain, both in Secaucus. Active in his community, Ernest was a past Exalted Ruler for BPOE Lodge #2167 in 1992, and was a member of American Legion Post #348, Brick, NJ.

Predeceased by his granddaughter Dana Lugo, stepson Richard Harttig, and four brothers Stanley, Harold, and Vincent Castle and Lewis Vagge, Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Marjory (Walker) Castle, daughters Kelley and Kevin O’Connor, Sheila and John Lugo, Joan Parker, and his son Ernie Castle. Also surviving are his grandchildren Hailey and Daniel O’Connor and Sheila Richards and Sonya Lugo, as well as his sister Ann Frigerio.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 at 1030 AM at the funeral home.
