
Lyn was born on October 2, 1964 and spent his early childhood years in Washington and Connecticut prior to moving to Waldwick. He attended Waldwick schools and was a graduate of Waldwick High class of 1983. As a hard working young man, Lyn became a skilled painter in the commercial painting business. Lyn was a member of the Friday night bowling league at Interstate Bowling Alley in Ramsey and the Bergen County Dart league. Everyone who knew Lyn knew that his greatest passion was for Harley Davidsons and classic cars and how he loved to share the adventures of his favorite cat, Trouble.
Most recently he was so proud of being known as “Uncle Lyn” to his young nephew. He will long be remembered for his kindness, thoughtfulness and dedication to his family and friends.
Lyn was preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Shaw Halloran. He is survived by his step father, Robert L. Halloran of Bluffton, SC, his sisters, Laura Simon Richardson of New Hartford, CT and Megan Halloran Romero of Louisville, Kentucky, his brother, Seamus Halloran of Saddle River, New Jersey,his nephew, Jack Richardson, his aunts, Barrie Shaw Prevuznak and Bonnie Shaw,his brother-in-laws, Kyle Richardson and R.J. Romero; and his cousins, Jamie Shaw, Matthew Shaw and Joe Prevuznak.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 16th from 7 to 9 PM at the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, New Jersey. The funeral ceremony and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
