RIP Uncle George, you were a loving, caring uncle/godfather - I always had a great time at your house; my dad's best friend....hope you and your brothers are having a happy reunion in heaven. Love you and miss you always

Peter and Irene Van Gunst. We will always remember Edna and George taking Peter into their home as his Mother and father upon Betty and James passing many years ago. They are special people.

To my dear nephew Peter and the entire Harris family - my deepest sympathies to you on the loss of Uncle George.  In time, your sorrow will be eased.  All the best to you.

We enjoyed the visits we had with 
George and Edna.  They were both so gracious and pleasant to talk with. Pete is a good example of their parenting.  Shea and  Tommy are fortunate to have George and Edna for grandparents.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

George and Edna always made me  feel comfortable and  like family when I would visit.   I appreciate how they have been such good in laws to my daughter Karen who married their son Peter......George was interesting to chat with.......I will miss him.

George and Edna are the best neighbors you can have - always helpful, mindful and generous. When we moved to Secaucus 11 years ago, they welcomed us unconditionally and made sure that we settled comfortably.
Thank you George for the small talks and the encouragement to my son Lorenzo ... thank you for making Lucky be a part of your daily routine ....

Mr. Harris was a nice neighbor and always a gentleman.  He enjoyed chats about his military career.  Our condolences to Mrs. Harris and all members of the family.

I have an image in my head of Uncle George, Uncle Tommy, Uncle Pete and Daddy sitting around a heavenly table and catching up...it makes this sad day a little easier to handle.

Rest in peace Uncle George. It was always a pleasure to talk to you whenever we did get together. You were a quality individual and I am better for having known you. Plus you were very funny as well. Please comfort my Dad when you see him.
