Jimmy it's been 3 years since you were taken from us. I will never forget that smile of yours. The way you would light up a room for any event. But my most memorable moments were all of us at the same HS.  JFK was the best. There was something about you that people were gravitated to you. Awesome DJ you were also a good reliable friend. We all grew up together. I miss you but I will never forget you or that personality. Party like a rock star up in heaven.

Jimmy I can't believe its been 1 year since you were taken away from us. I still get reminders of the music you did online. Especially Disco and house music at many events  like Club Foxes & the NYC Clubs and my Wedding. Having known you since the neighborhood and John F Kennedy High School. I’m sadden to hear that you have gone to a better place, I remember the early days growing up in Inwood. One of my brothers closest friends back then, always bumping into you at the clubs if not seeing you in the neighborhood spinning in basements:)

Jimmy was the one of the most supportive and kind person I've ever met. He aided me in public speaking and shared stories of his experiences in NYC before my time that I truly appreciated. He always had a comment or a joke he would whisper to me that instantly put a smile on my face. Rest well, Jimmy.

So many Stars in attendance and Jimmy outshone most.  He was so vibrant, full of life and energy.  Standing by the side of my Brother made me so proud to be known as such, in his heart. Jimmy was one of the Best of us. He was HUMAN, had faults, and I celebrate him!

I was 2 months into my AGM position at the Boat House in NYC.  Jimmy found out, called me super excited that we would be working together, again, after so many years.  Jimmy had a FLAIR for turning strangers into friends!  Turned this event on its head. All involved loved Jimmy for the person he was and the job he did as MC/DJ.

Everytime we saw each other, we laughed together.

There are NO words that can describe someone who was always positive even in negative times. I know I WILL miss you Jimmy.  You were a true friend first and foremost. We ALL love you

Wow, I'm still blown about this. He was a cool dude. Always laughing.  He had a Big Smile always. I remember working with him when I was a Bouncer at Foxes. 
RIP James, til we meet again..

So hard to believe that our childhood friend and brother has passed. The Gates of Heaven opened and received him. His .om was there waiting. He will never be forgotten always in our 💕💞♥️ Jimmy also played at my Wedding. My cousin Lisa Torres Harden and Adrianne Duffy my cousin...

I don't have any photo(s) to share. Cause it was taken and install on my memory bank. But, what I could share is, that, Jimmy was Jimmy, Funny and entertainer. A character by itself. Unfortunately he was call early. As sad it is. It was his time. Thank you Jimmy for accepting me as your friend. You will be  physically missed. But spiritually you will continue to live on. 

It’s hard to lose friend from our childhood.  I haven’t see you since you DJ ‘d my wedding 33 years ago. We did speak a year ago for some length of time. Rest peacefully Jimmy, you will be missed.

I can't believe you are not here physically. I do know that you are here in everyone's hearts. There simply was noone that could not like you once they met you. From your wisdom and deep conversations, your sense of humor ,your knowledge and talent you will so much be missed. The thing I will miss the most is being able to call you my friend because I was proud of it. I don't understand why it was your time to leave us because you had so much more to do  here but  I do know you are in a good place. I know you are having a party in Heaven. Rest in Peace my brother.

I can’t even begin to count the memories I have with Jimmy, but one thing stands out for me. A few years back I sent Jimmy a text and asked when he was free to talk because I needed advice on a situation. Not even a minute later I got a text back that said, “Always have time for you... call me.” That was Jimmy in a nutshell. Always there for advice, a story, or just to talk. He will be sorely missed ❤️

May James rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in this sad time.
Always remember your smile and your funny jokes and your music always  got me dancing!
