Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Kenneth lived in Secaucus for the past 30 years.
Kenneth was a U.S. Postal Worker in Jersey City for 40 years. He was a St. Peters College graduate, a member of the Elks Lodge, and was an avid Notre Dame and Yankees fan.
Pre-deceased by his loving wife Josephine in 2014, his 3 brothers Alan, Robbie, and Tommy, and his Mother (Thomasina) and Father (Kenneth Sr.). He is survived by his 3 sons, Tony Rugar and his wife Melina of Fairview Park, OH; Kenny J. McKelvey and Robert A. McKelvey of Secaucus, his brothers’ sons, Sean and Billy McKelvey, a god daughter Kim Garner, and his granddaughter Brielle Rugar.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 2nd from 4 to 8pm, Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 3rd at 9am, at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow, Holy Cross Cemetery in N. Arlington, NJ.
