Norine M. Bassford

Secaucus, NJ- Norine M. (Ascari) Bassford peacefully passed into eternal life on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Hackensack Medical Center. She was 86. Norine was born in Union City, NJ to Otto and Margaret (Luraschi) Ascari. She was a Secaucus resident for the past 57 years. She was employed as a secretary with the Secaucus Recreation Department. Norine was past president of the Hubert Street School and past vice president with the Hudson County PTA. Predeceasing her is beloved husband Kenneth in 1996. Surviving her is a loving son, Keith (Judy) Bassford of Clifton, NJ, and loving daughter Pamela (Joseph) Fuardo of Secaucus, and a brother: Otto Paul Ascari of Virginia. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Kristin (Brian) Tiffenbach, Samantha Bassford, Joseph Fuardo II and Keith Paul Bassford II. A Wednesday 9:30 am Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church 1219 Paterson Plank Rd Secaucus, NJ followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
