Paul Amico

Born in New York, NY, he was a longtime resident of Secaucus, where he served as mayor for 28 years. Paul retired as the owner and operator of Paul’s Diner when he was 43 to be a full-time public official. He served as mayor from 1964—1991. He was a World War II veteran of the US Army.

Paul was predeceased by his wives, Catherine (Lehfeld) and Regina (Casazza) Amico, and his parents, Salvatore and Grace Amico. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Joseph & Charles, and his sisters, Mae DeRocco and Sally Ward. He is survived by his sister, Angie Fell. He is also survived by his stepsons, Robert and Dr. Albert Casazza, eight nieces and nephews, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 12th, 2017 and Monday, February 13th, from 4-9PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 14th, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus.
