Christina Skye Wilson

Christina graduated from Shawnee High School in 2009 and was attending Seminole State College. She was a member of Sallateeska Baptist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved playing volleyball, shopping, traveling, reading, listening to music and spending time with her brothers.

Christina was preceded in death by: Great Grandmother Catherine Masquat, Grandmother Charlene Atwell, Grandfather Mac Arthur Henry, and Grandfather Emerson G. Wilson and Cousins Scott (Bubba) Wilson and Laura Jane Williams.

Christina is survived by her parents DeWayne and Marla Wilson and two brothers Russell and Erik all of Shawnee, Grandmother Henrietta Henry, Aunt Helena Henry, Uncles Michael and Joey Henry all of Cooper City, Florida. Aunts: Barbara, Noreen, Diana, Beverly and Linda; Uncles: Emerson, Walter, Mike, Nhan and Majid and numerous cousins, extended family and friends. And Jordan Jones a cousin who is more like the sister she never had.

Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday January 29, 2011 and Sunday January 30, 2011 from noon to 4 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. A wake will be held Sunday night at her home located at 18309 South Rock Creek Road at 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Temple Baptist Church at 9 a.m. on East Highland in Shawnee. Graveside services will follow afterwards at Resthaven Cemetery.

Christina’s life was short lived but she lived it to the fullest. She will be missed. She may be gone but never forgotten, for as long as we cherish the memories we have of her, she will live forever in our hearts and minds.
