Earnestine “Tina” Alberta Harris, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished friend, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2025 at 77 years of age. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion to family. Tina was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Earnest Albert Patterson and Bettie Jean Kratz. Following graduation from Shawnee High School in 1966, she was employed by the Oklahoma Department of Public Welfare in Oklahoma City. Tina later took her secretarial skills to Tinker Air Force Base where she dedicated 34 years of service, finally retiring as an aircraft mechanic. Her skill, determination, and pride in her work left a lasting mark on those she served alongside. After retiring, she poured her energy into her greatest joy—her children and grandchildren. Sewing and crocheting were not just hobbies for Tina but acts of kindness that she shared with everyone around her. She loved giving gifts, especially during Christmas. Her love was stitched into every blanket, towel set, and handmade gift she created. Others benefited from her creativity for many years as she outfitted dolls for the Tinker AFB Annual Doll Distribution and Dress-up Contest in coordination with the Salvation Army. She enjoyed producing winning creations and blessing many little girls in the process. Tina was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister, Barbara Jean O’Conner, and her brother, James Earnest Patterson. She is survived by her children: Tammy Atherton and her husband Bill of Fayette, Missouri, Robert Kendall Lynam of Harrah, Oklahoma, and Tina Marie Day of Harrah, Oklahoma, as well as eleven grandchildren: Jonathan and his wife Rachel, Ashley and her husband Dillon, Hunter and his wife Destiny, Andrew, Elyssa, Hayden, Matthew, Wyatt, Hudson, Jennifer, and Emily. Her legacy continues through her six cherished great-grandchildren: Zandur, Nova, Journee, Kayleigh, Mara, and Charlotte. Each of them carries forward her love, her laughter, and her enduring spirit. Tina’s life was defined by her devotion to her family. She found joy in every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She especially loved watching her family play together. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Monday, December 29th, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm at the same location. Committal Service will follow at 3:00 pm at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
