Eva "Dean" Jones

Dean was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and taking walks. Eva worked as a CNA at different care facilities and loved helping people. She was a long time member of the Methodist faith.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert “Bob” Jones and wife, Dottie of Granbury, Texas; daughter, Sherrie Dean Nettles and husband, Bob of Shawnee; grandchildren: Jennifer Trapp of Shawnee, Bryan Trapp of Romulus, Nathan Jones and wife, Kellie of Greenville, Texas, Panthea “PJ” Peele of Mesa, Arizona, Shelly Decker and husband, Mike of Sparks, Craig Nettles and wife, Molly of Kansas City; great grandchildren: Quintin, Nevaeh, Logan, Brianna, Sarah, Devin, Jason, Justice, Cory and wife, Natasha, Megan and fiancé Hunter, Anthony, Chelsea, Jessee and husband, Trevor, Shai, Freya; great-great grandchildren: Avery, Anthony, Serenity, DJ, Mia, Addison, and Kyler; beloved sister, Skip Blalock. Also left to cherish her memory are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; childhood friend, Joyce Jamison; and dear friend, Wanda Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, D.B. Jones; son, Ted Jones; grandson, Bobby J Nettles; parents, Albert “Ted” and Lilly May Greeling; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, April 26, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
