She was born February 22, 1943 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Ralph and Lorece Mays.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Lorece Mays, sister Pam Mays, daughter Jeanette Hasbel, grandson Terry Rowe, and great grandson Ryan Cushman.
She is survived by her children Sheila Ross of Cabot, Arkansas; Shirlene Burnett of Cushing, Oklahoma; and Steven Carter of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Brother Jerry Mays and wife Paula of Earlsboro, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Paula Wano of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; Christy Ross of Andrews, Texas; Richard Petty of Bebe, Arkansas; Mabel Petty of Ward, Arkansas; Barbara and Leroy Burger of Prague, Oklahoma; David Rowe of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Thomas Burnett of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; Vicci and Eric Baize of Cushing, Oklahoma; John Burnett of Prague, Oklahoma. 22 Great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren Pet Starla.
