

Harry Fogle, 95 years old, died August 18, 2021, at the Clarksville Nursing Center in Clarksville, Texas. Harry was born in Joy, Missouri December 4, 1925 to Charles Avant Fogle and Lottie Melinda Holland Fogle. He is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Colleen Margaret Ryan Fogle, parents, brothers Billie Martin Fogle, Wilbert Jackson Fogle, Charles Clinton Fogle, Doss Fogle and sister Mary Randall and daughter Sandra Sue Kennedy Jones and husband Ronny and Grandson Charles Kyle Jones
Harry Fogle is survived by Three Children: Daughters Susan Hill and husband Mike of Clarksville, Texas Polly Mello and husband Anthony of Elkridge, Maryland and son Steven Fogle and wife Crystelle of Shepherd, Montana and by seven Grandchildren: Adam Cowart and wife Trista, Victoria Swink and husband Michael, Ryan Jordan Mello and husband Dantwoine and Kathryn Mello and Mike Ray and Maleia and Hailey Fogle and Tammy Neely and husband Tim, Suzanne Hutchison and husband Jody. Also eleven Great Grandchildren: Connor and Hudson Cowart, Michael, Anthony and Harrison Swink, Michael and Maximus Ray, Ashleigh Stansberry and husband Jeff, Allison Cornelison and husband Jacob, Madeline Neely, Jaxon Hutchison and by two Great Great Grandchildren: Maddison and Makenzie Stansbury.
Harry grew up in Tribbey, Oklahoma and graduated from the Tribbey School. He was a WWII veteran. He served in the South Pacific in New Guinea and the Philippines. After the war, he worked for the Standard Oil Company in North Western, Colorado where he met and married his wife, Colleen, November 17, 1947. In 1953 he moved to the Dallas area where he worked for American Airlines for 38 years. In 1955 they moved to Irving, Texas where he also had his own Window Cleaning business. In 1970, they moved to Argyle, Texas where they lived for 45 years before they went into Memory care in 2019. He worked until he was 80 years old, his last jobs were Minyards, then FEMA during Hurricane Katrina. Harry and Colleen were active members of the First Baptist church in Denton Texas for 49 years.
Harry and Colleen enjoyed traveling all over the country and many foreign trips. Most of the trips were with family or to see family. They were always on the go.
He enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Antique Radio Club for many years. In later years he wore his WWII cap and enjoyed people coming up to thank him to for his service.
