Homer Elijah Blakley

Homer married Arthula Hendricks and was blessed with two sons, Donavan Dale and James Randall. Arthula passed on September 25, 1980.

Homer married Doris Nell (Linduff) Ficke on April 23, 1983. He is survived by his wife of the home; two brothers, Edward Blakley of St. George, Utah and Dwayne Blakley of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Helen Speiss of Albuquerque, NM; two stepdaughters, Sherri Merle and Sheila Ledford; six grandchildren, including grandsons Jeff Blakley and Michael Blakley; and nine great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; late wife; one son, James Blakley; one sister, Nadine Mills; one granddaughter, Jennifer Blakley.

Homer will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home of Shawnee, from Noon to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Services will be at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 16, 2012. Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City.
