

James worked as a pipefitter for most of his life and could work 200 welders fitting pipe. He could build anything with his two hands and was the world’s best organizer anyone ever saw. He loved John Wayne Westerns. For the last 50 years he was a “Boss Man” and worked with many amazing people.
James met the love of his life, Linda Lou Crockett, and got married May 24, 1986 in Taft, California.
James is preceded in death by children Antoinette “Toni” Youngblood, Mary Danielle Mahaffey, Monte Livernois, and Brent Livernois; parents James Morris and Bessie Ann (Andrews) Mahaffey; sister Linda Ann Graves; and special pet Tootsie Mahaffey.
James is survived by his wife of 36 years Linda Lou (Crockett) Mahaffey; son Keith Livernois and wife Marilu of Katy, Texas; daughter Rhonda Knight and husband Michael of Jacksonville, Texas; son James Mahaffey and wife Rebecca of Woodville, Texas; son Keith Mahaffey and wife Jennifer of Chester, Texas; son Michael Mahaffey and wife Danyelle of Missouri; son Jason Mahaffey and wife Sirena of Colmesneil, Texas; 27 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Mahaffey family would like to thank all of James’ friends, coworkers, and the many amazing people he met throughout his life. There are too many to list, but just know, he appreciated and was proud of you.
A special celebration will be held in Piedmont, Oklahoma on July 2, 2022.
