Jimmie James D. Clarkson

Jimmie D. Clarkson is survived by his wife Mary Clarkson, his daughter Celeste Ann and husband Jimmy Enoch and their children Brandon Sullivan, and Whitnie Clarkson, and by his daughter Angelique Morton and her husband Steve Morton and their children Rilee Morton, and Jace Manke. He is also survived by his grandsons Zachery Clay Clarkson and his wife Angela Clarkson and by his youngest grandson Ricky Clayton Clarkson. He is predeceased by his father Roy Clarkson and his mother Ontoinette Clarkson and by his eldest son Richie Clarkson.

Jim enjoyed spending quiet evenings on the swing with his wife and their dog Bear. The two of them would swing and pet Bear and enjoy the beautiful sounds of the birds and the soft breezes of the evening. He always enjoyed educating his grandchildren. He taught them about the different types of leaves on trees and they learned about all of the different kinds of birds and how to identify their calls. Together with his wife Mary Clarkson they enjoyed traveling to Branson, MO and enjoyed shows and going out on the Branson dinner boat. He bought his grandchildren bridles and taught his grandchildren how to ride their miniature horses. He enjoyed tinkering with the trackers and planting roses around the yard with his wife. He enjoyed family dinners at Paul’s with his family. Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee, OK.
