Lonnie went to Neffs Business School and became the Chief of Military Pay at Tinker Air Force Base. Lonnie was part of the ELKS and loved to golf. Lonnie could be described as easy going, never met a stranger, loved everyone, could talk to a fence post, and had the most beautiful smile.
Lonnie met and married the love of his life, Sarah Margaret Yates, on October 29, 1955 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Together, they had a beautiful daughter, inside and out, Jill Marie Black.
Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents Mervin Black and Nettie (Cothran) Black and daughter Jill Marie Black. He is survived by his adorning loving wife Sarah Margaret (Yates) Black, sister in law Oma B Waters and husband Joe, and many nieces and nephews.
