Marcia Denise Artherholt

Marcia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her family, one of the things Marcia loved most was Nature. Whether it was time spent fishing, watching hummingbirds feed, seeing bumblebees or bumblers as she like to call them, or just gardening. She also spent time geocaching, going to garage sales, and playing cards. If she wasn’t in nature, most of the time you could find her at her favorite spot which was her bed. Marcia told her family, “I want to be known as the storyteller” and that she was. Her family can remember Marcia telling them all kinds of stories, even spooky ones. She was also known for her adventurous nature drives and those memories will always be cherished.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dan Artherholt; children: Diane and husband Shan Holder, Laura and husband Dylan Thomas, Kevin Artherholt, Danny Jr. and wife Amanda Artherholt, Dusty and husband Jerry Bannister, and Dennis and wife Diana Artherholt; grandchildren: Eddie Martin, Nikki Holder, Heydan Wells, Joseph Wells, Malachi Thomas, Abigail Artherholt, Judith Artherholt, Kersten Ellison, Rebecca Ellison, Anneliese Ellison, Jonathan Tharp, Alaina Artherholt, Shelby Mullin, Kaitlyn Hembree, Emily Mullin, Austin Drake, Kylie Drake, Cyle Giddens, Jadyn Atchley, Trinity Mullin, and Layla Mullin; numerous great grandchildren; brothers; Garland and Oscar Metzger; and sister Alice Metzger.

She was preceded in death by her son, Royce Mullin; her parents; and a brother and sister.
