Mary Margaret Malone

She grew up in Pasadena, attending Hamilton Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Junior High School and graduating from Pasadena High School. Mary went on to attend Pasadena City College. She met and married the love of her life, Charles Edward Malone, and they were married 18 years until his passing in March 2020.

She worked in a variety of positions, including sales, design and management. Mary had two favorite vacation destinations, Disney World in Florida and Galveston, Texas on the beach. She and her family enjoyed many memorable road trips to both places. She greatly enjoyed watching NASCAR and football. She was Baptist by affiliation.

Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents, George and Jeanette King and her husband, Charles Malone.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Michelle Tucker; step-son, Justin Malone and his wife Lisa; brother, George King and wife Susan; sister, Linda King; grandsons, Christopher Bursiel and Jacob Malone; great-grandson, Damian Bursiel; niece, Angela King; nephew, Micah King; and a host of good friends.

The family asks that memorials be made in Mary’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 3700 West Robinson Street, Norman, OK 73072.

A celebration of life for Mary will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801.
