Shirley Coeta White

Shirley was born on November 2, 1936 in Gracemont, OK to Ernest and Adella Blue. She spent her early school years in Gracemont, OK. During high school, her family moved to Oklahoma City where she graduated from Capitol Hill HS and also met her future husband of 24 years, Dean Windsor. Shirley and Dean were blessed with two children Larry and Debbie Windsor. Shirley worked at the TG&Y corporate office for many years but finished her working years as a credit manager for US Foods where she earned the title “Bulldog Shirley”. During these years, she met and married Doug Perryman and was happily married for 20 years until his death in Nov. 2000.

Shirley married her soulmate, Clifford White, on Aug. 18, 2001. Shirley and Clifford had 20 years of fun and more traveling adventures than most have in a lifetime. Clifford unexpectedly passed away on March 4, 2022. Shirley joined him in heaven 18 days later.

Shirley loved her family, cooking, gardening, waterskiing, camping, traveling, and four wheeling in the mountains. She was active all her life and was dynamite in a small package.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her former husbands Clifford White and Doug Perryman, son-in-law John Papageorge, and brother-in-law Johnny Sweeney.

Shirley is survived by her siblings: sister Janell Lester and husband Floyd; brother Paul Blue and wife Mary; former husband Dean Windsor; son Larry Windsor and wife Donna; and daughter Debbie Papageorge. Son-in-laws: Bryon White and wife Mary Beth, Greg White and wife Pam. 13 grandchildren: Jessica Lingle and husband Greg, Rachel Dahlgren and husband Erik, Matthew Papageorge, Morgan Papageorge and Cole Papageorge, Bryon Lee White, Kierston Goff and husband Derek, Lauren Floyd and husband Terry, JD Casteel and wife Laura, Kora Ackland and husband Aaron, Jesse White and wife Mary, Clayton and Isaiah White. And a multitude of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her celebration of life will be on Tuesday, March 29th at 2 pm at Resthaven Chapel in Shawnee, OK. Viewing is available at the chapel from 4-8 on Monday, March 28th. Resthaven Funeral Home is located 44909 Hwy 3, Shawnee, Oklahoma, 74801.
