Theodore "Ted" B. Hill Jr.

Longtime Shawnee resident, Theodore “Ted” Ballentine Hill Jr., 56, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 in Oklahoma City. He was born June 13, 1959 in Morristown, New Jersey to Theodore Ballentine Hill Sr. and Charlotte Aber. He married Rhonda Murray on July 1, 1988. Ted was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a former member of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club, Chapter 194. He was a big, loveable, fun teddy bear who adored his wife, kids, and grandkids, who were the reason he woke up every morning. He loved motorcycles, karaoke, fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore B. Hill Sr.; and lifetime friend and brother, Ronnie Babus.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rhonda Hill; mother, Charlotte Hill; daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Michael Ratcliff, Kelly and Jason Dunning; son and daughter-in-law, Al and Denise Forsythe; grandchildren, Allie, Taylor, Carter, and Jordyn Ratcliff, and Peyton Forsythe; uncle, William Aber; as well as numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be 3pm-8pm on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Services will be 1pm Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor David Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery.
