Agnes Smith Polizzi

Agnes Smith Polizzi, age 90, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 16, 2022.   She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and a Bookkeeper for C and S Millwork. Agnes  was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 9, 1931, to the late Raymond and Agnes Butterhoff Allgeier. She was preceded in death by her first  husband, Charles Smith; second husband, Michael Polizzi; daughter, Janet Reid and her parents. Agnes leaves to cherish her memory her children, Sherry Ball Mattingly (Robbie), Mark Smith (Dottie), Eddy Smith (Diana); three step daughters, Suzanne Dean (Robert), Laura Lutz (Craig) and Julie Fitzgerald (Jim); and several grandchildren and a host of family and friends  Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 21, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Friday from 2 pm until 8 pm on Saturday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home
