Betty Joan Jackson

Ms. Betty Joan Jackson, age 83, of Brooks returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 4, 2020.   Ms. Jackson was born in Bedford, KY on June 26, 1936 to the late Harry Villian Clifford and Margaret Mary (West) Proctor. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Shepherdsville where she served in many different positions of responsibility. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; grandson, Clint Gaw; and brother, Allen Clifford.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Mary Ann Trautwein (Gary), Ronnie Jackson (Kathy), Donnie Jackson (Pat), Connie Jackson, Nancy Jean Robbins (David); and their father, Eugene Jackson; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; half-sisters, Susie and Barbara; and half-brother, Danny.

Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.)  with interment to follow in Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
