Among those who preceded her in death include her daughter, Jessica Renfrow; stepdaughter, Christy Strader; father, Wilmer Whitlock and brother, Larry Whitlock.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Roy Strader; daughters, Christy Lindsey (Eric) and Melissa Hodges (Brent); stepchildren, Kimberly Strader, Richard Strader and Roy Strader; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; mother, Sharon Whitlock; brother, Keith Whitlock and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
