Brian Mitchell Luckett

Mr. Brian Mitchell Luckett, age 47, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on November 7, 2019. Mr. Luckett was born on April 30, 1972 in Louisville, KY to Louis Luckett and Regina (Gilbert) Penick. Mr. Luckett was a plumber with Dauenhauer Plumbing and a member of Community Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing and golf and was a car enthusiast. He was an avid University of Louisville Cardinals fan. Among those that preceded him in death are his paternal grandparents, Bertram and Evelyn Luckett.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 12 years, Marina (Brown) Luckett; son, Troy Guhse (Carmen); grandchildren, Grace and Vivian; father, Louis Luckett; mother and stepfather, Regina and Paul Penick; grandparents, Raymond and Delora Gilbert; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
