Cathy Jeanine Bradford

Cathy Jeanine Bradford passed away on April 24th, 2021.  She was born on January 25th, 1972 in Gagnon Quebec to Richard and Rita Bradford.  She joined 3 brothers and a sister.  The family resided in Gagnon where her father was on a railroad construction project, they moved to W. Va for a year for another project and to Shepherdsville, Kentucky when Cathy was 2 years old.  

Cathy grew up in Shepherdsville and graduated from Bullitt Central High School in 1990.  While in school she enjoyed participating in many activities and enjoyed the years she was a cheerleader and also worked with younger cheerleaders.  Cathy was a member of Davidson Memorial Methodist Church and was continually active in the Youth program there.

As a teenager Cathy started working in retail and eventually got into the cosmetic end of retail.  She enjoyed many years as a makeup artist.  

In 2003 Cathy moved to Cincinnati Ohio to work with a cosmetic company and eventually moved to Dayton Ohio. 

Cathy and Mark Oberle were married in Shepherdsville on October 2nd, 1993.  They have one son Ryan Bradford Oberle.

Cathy was a very devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and really loved football season.

Preceded in death by her father Richard Bradford. Grandparents Albert and Etta Dramstad and Charles and Nora Bradford.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Rita Bradford. Husband Mark Oberle and son Ryan Oberle of Souix St. Marie Michigan.  Three brothers Steve (Charlotte) Tim and Rick (Johanne) one sister Patti Roth (Terry) all of Shepherdsville Ky.  Three nephews Josh Bratcher (Ashley) Tyler Bratcher (Amanda) and Kody Bradford (Kelly) and 5 Great nephews and 5 Great nieces all of whom she dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with.

Services will be held on Friday May 21st at the chapel in Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks at 4895 N Preston Highway.  Friends may pay respects from 11a.m. to 2p.m. on Friday and service is at 2p.m.
