Christopher "Chris" Cameron Cunningham

 Christopher “Chris” Cameron Cunningham, age 53, of Louisville, Ky passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Chris was born on May 28, 1970, to Archibald “Archie” Cameron Cunningham and Ellie Louise (Roeder) Cunningham. Chris was a salesman for L&W Supply Company “The Rook”. Chris was never lost for words, he could work a room like no other, he was a wonderful mentor to many, many, people over the years. He loved to travel, he was a true-life foodie, he was a diehard University of Louisville fan, he went on many adventures with his granddaughter Lyra, who lovingly called him “Poppy”, he was uncle funny to his nieces and nephews. Chris was a loving husband, father, son, and brother, he will be truly missed by his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Nancy Cunningham, and Jacob and Frances Roeder, and brother, Dean Allen Cunningham, and bonus father, Bobby Bell, great niece, Haley Hines.

 He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 33 years, Janet (Quinton) Cunningham, his sons, Tyler Cunningham, (Taylor Jackson) and Zackery Cunningham, granddaughter, Lyra Cunningham, father, Archie Cunningham (Mary), mother, Ellie Cunningham, sister, Delise Jankowski (Steve), brother, Rob Maupin, a niece and nephew, Sean and Sarah Jankowski, sister-in-law, Donna Zelch (Z), niece, Amanda Bell (Danny), nephew, Josh Bolton, niece, Keisha Hurst, sister-in-law, Sheryl Payne Carman (Craig), niece, Savannah Payne (Cameron), niece, Brooke Payne, nephew, Max Payne, and great nieces and nephew's, William, Andrew, Jasmine, Cassie, and Aleena, along with a host of other dear family and friends.

 Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until 8 P.M.  and again, Thursday July 13, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at (Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N. Preston Hwy).  A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.  Cremation to follow.
