Dale Ray Tinnell

Mr. Dale Ray Tinnell, age 60, of Boston returned to his Heavenly Father on May 10, 2024. Mr. Tinnell was born on August 31, 1963, in Louisville, KY to Sherman Tinnell and Patricia (LaFollette) Tinnell. He was a self-employed painter, owning and operating Tinnell’s Painting. Dale was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a Kentucky Wildcats fan. He enjoyed cooking, going to the lake, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Harrison Lane Baptist Church. Among those that preceded him in death are his grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving partner of 26 years, Dawn Miller; children, Stephanie Zierman (Tim), Josh Tinnell, and Chase Tinnell; grandchildren, Mason, Lilli, and Barrett; parents, Patricia Tinnell (Ronnie Henson) and Sherman Tinnell (Sheila); brothers, Ray Tinnell (Dinah), Barry Tinnell (Vickie), and Dave Henson (JoAnn); half-sister, Destiny Bates (Christian); half-brother, Michael Tinnell and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 1-8 pm and Thursday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Family video on www.subfuneralhome.com
